The Halo singer admitted that she put a fake stud in her nose to draw attention away from having five piercings in each ear.

Beyonce was a mischievous teen, and once tricked her mum into thinking she had her nose pierced. Knowles family matriarch Tina Knowles banned her daughter from having her ears and nose pierced, but Beyonce was desperate to wear jewellery in her ears, so she had them pierced and then wore a fake nose-stud, to deflect attention from her newly bejewelled lobes. And the deception worked.

Beyonce revealed, “When I was a teenager, I had five piercings in each ear. I didn’t ask my mother’s permission and I thought, ‘She’s gonna kill me’, so I got a magnetic stud and put it in my nose. My mum freaked when she saw it. But then, she was so happy when I told her it was just a magnet that she didn’t care about the earrings!” However, the singer is convinced she experienced instant karma for tricking her mum. She added, “I did pay for it. My ears felt like they were on fire, so I took them out after two days.”

Beyonce inspires Kelly to marry

Kelly Rowland has been inspired to get married by Beyonce Knowles. The 27-year-old singer admits seeing her former Destiny’s Child bandmate tie the knot with her long-term boyfriend Jay-Z earlier this year has made her dream about the day she will get to walk down the aisle.

She said, “Seeing Beyonce get married to Jay-Z did make me want to tie the knot, but I’m not ready yet. I’m just working. I was dumped in my last relationship, because I was working so much — another one bites the dust.” Kelly has set her sights on making Hollywood heartthrob Orlando Bloom her ‘Mr. Right’.

The singer said, “Orlando Bloom is my celebrity crush. He could rub dirt on his face and still be cute!” Kelly also revealed Orlando isn’t the only British man she finds attractive, adding, “British men are hot! The style, the accents... they’re just really cute!”
