Cheryl can’t bear hubby singing

This is one couple that isn’t singing along. Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole hates it when her husband starts singing. Cheryl says her soccer star spouse Ashley Cole can’t hold a note and she can’t bear listening to him when he attempts to sing along to his favourite tunes. She said, “He is absolutely tone-deaf, to the point where he will sing along to a song and I’ll say, ‘Please baby, you have got to stop’.”

25-year-old Cheryl also revealed that Ashley, 27, finds her most attractive when she is just hanging around the house with no make-up on and wearing tracksuits. She added, “Women always think men like you best when you are dressed up. But since, as a band Girls Aloud are always so dressed up, he prefers me in my tracksuit with my hair up and no make-up. When I have my hair scraped off my head, he always says, ‘Oh, you look cute!’ because it’s the opposite of how he is used to seeing me.”

Cole calls on Madonna to tone it down

Cheryl Cole thinks Madonna should tone it down in some ‘areas’ as she turns 50. The Girls Aloud star — who is a judge on a UK TV talent show — believes the 4 Minutes singer might need to cover up on stage now that she’s 50. Speaking at a London hotel, Cheryl told a magazine: “Madonna is an absolute legend. She is just an unbelievable inspiration to everybody, so I don’t think she should hang up her leotard just yet. May be tone it down a little in some private areas, but that’s it!” Simon Cowell, who joins Cheryl on the judging panel of The X Factor, added: “She is a star because she is a survivor. She’s got that steel in her and that is why she is such a big star.” Cheryl - who first shot to fame on a UK TV talent show — also revealed it was her Girls Aloud bandmates who “forced” her to take the judging job, replacing Sharon Osbourne on the panel. She said: “The girls were the ones that told me, or forced me, to do it actually. It was a big decision coming from the background I have come from, from a show like this, and even during the audition process I found it really difficult sometimes — even if someone was completely tone deaf I would be struggling to say ‘No’ in the beginning. So actually, I discussed it with all the girls first and they were like, ‘Are you joking? You’ve got to do it. You’ve got to do it.’ So they are all probably more excited than I am!”
