DAD DIDN’T WANT JENNIFER TO ACT

She may be one of the most successful actresses, but Hollywood movie star Jennifer Aniston recently revealed that her father didn’t want her to take up an acting career. According to The hollywood film Bounty star, her father John Aniston — who is also an hollywood actor — begged her to choose a ‘less iffy’ career. The 40-year-old star said, “My dad didn’t want me to do this at all. It wasn’t that he didn’t think I could, he just thought that it was such an iffy thing.”

However, instead of being discouraged, Jennifer reveals that it was indeed her father’s disapproval that spurred her on to go to even more auditions. Speaking to a magazine, she said, “I think there was a part of his discouragement that kind of fuelled my drive in a way.” In her next hollywood film The Goree Girls, Jennifer tackles a new challenge — singing on screen.

Meanwhile, hollywood movie actress Jennifer Aniston will take a break from acting, since she is planning an adventure trip. The former Friends star recently wrapped filming on her latest project, The Bounty, and is now promoting her new romantic comedy Love Happens.

But once she finishes the premieres and press interviews, she plans to quit work until January 2010, reported femalefirst. “I’m going to go on an adventure, take myself somewhere. I won’t start another job until at least January. I want to take time off,” said Aniston.

JEN CALLS JOHN ‘EXTRAORDINARY '

The former Friends star Jennifer Aniston is completely smitten with boyfriend John Mayer and claims he is ‘extraordinary’. The actress has fuelled rumours that the couple may settle down as they “adore each other”.

“He’s a rare one. He is extraordinary and it is wonderful to watch him. The way his brain works and the way he thinks... it’s beautiful,” she told Daily Mirror.

Aniston, after her divorce from ex-husband Brad Pitt and failed relationships with Vince Vaughn and Tate Donovan, is learning to understand the world of music for Mayer’s sake.

“It’s an amazing thing to watch a musician think. I don’t know many musicians but when his guitar is on him it’s just like a channel. “It’s something I’ve never ever seen before,” she added. The 39-year-old Aniston and 31-year-old Mayer resumed their relationship in October, two months after he announced he had dumped Jen. But it seems that the couple’s relationship is back on track as both publicly declared their affection for each another recently. Aniston has already introduced Mayer to her father, soap actor John Aniston.

Jennifer Aniston has reportedly split from John Mayer. Musician John is rumoured to have ended his three-month relationship with the former Friends actress because of long-term commitment issues. Friends say tension between the couple lead to a trial separation, but other sources suggest Jennifer, 39, has already moved on and is dating male model Matt Felker, who starred in the video for Britney Spears’ song Toxic. A source close to John, 30, said, “John is still mulling over their relationship. He likes to have some space before deciding it is definitely over. But he may be too late. If the rumours that she is dating a model are true, he will be really upset.” John and Jennifer were reportedly planning to move in together after his present tour ends in September. However, despite reports the pair were ready to settle down, the relationship apparently broke down because John felt he couldn’t commit to Jennifer’s plans to settle down.
