American comedienne Joan Rivers blasted Victoria Beckham saying she is nasty, rude and that she should go back to Britain. “Victoria Beckham is so nasty. Why doesn’t she just go home? Her dresses are beautiful, but I don’t care what she does. She’s mean to all the people around her,” contactmusic.com quoted her saying.

“She’s too short to be a diva. We all use the same hairdressers, make-up artists, limodrivers and greeters at the airports in LA and nobody has anything nice to say about her. They say, she’s rude. She can’t always just be having a bad day.”

The 76-year-old comedienne also blasted Victoria for her spending habits, insisting she should be less extravagant in the current difficult economic climate. “Victoria should get a life. I am not a fan of outrageous consumption. I think it is vulgar. No one should flaunt that they have 100 Hermes Rs 4.26 lakh bags. Not when people are starving. Everyone should be allowed to have a great time but she shows a distinct lack of class.”

Posh thinks purple

Victoria Beckham reportedly insisted a UK department store gets re-decorated ahead of the launch of her latest perfume. The former Spice Girl wanted the pink carpets at the store in Manchester replaced by purple ones to match the packaging of her new scent, but her demands have angered store insiders. One worker told a British newspaper, “She is such a control freak, we’re expecting her to lay the carpet herself. It’s a grand launch. She hasn’t even revealed the name of the perfume yet. We pride ourselves on being one of Britain’s trendiest stores, but we’re obviously not posh enough for Posh.” Victoria, 34, has now decided to bring her own carpet to ensure the event goes without a hitch later this month. A spokesman for the star said, “We do have our own purple carpet, which we will put down for the launch. That is simply because the whole theme of her new fragrance is purple. A store spokesman added, “It will just be so that the carpet matches the fragrance launch.”
