Glam model Katie Price seems to be controversy’s favourite child. First her topless shoots, then allegations of her lack of parenting skills, to being left out of the Cartier Polo match guest list. Named ‘Celebrity Mum of the Year’, Katie tells Virgin Radio RJs JK and Joel about her son Harvey who’s suffering from septo-optic dysplasia. “He’s the most unsociable kid. We have to be very patient with him.” The family has been under public scrutiny through a reality TV show. The RJs take a dig at her by saying, “We have heard that you and your husband Peter compete with each other.” She quips, “Watch the new TV series, I won and he became a loser. Also they do not show his bickering on the show. Only I am shown with my mood swings.” On her latest book, she says, “I wanted to write a book on celebrity life – what goes on behind the scene. I won’t say that the story is entirely true but it isn’t fiction either.”

“I still want to do a lot of things. I haven’t ever failed and in the next 10 years I want to do the most – perfumes, cosmetics, bed linen, baby clothing,” she concludes.
