Lady Gaga once again made a jaw dropping fashion statement with her bizarre outfit at the recent Brit Awards.

Her vocal skills are unbeatable, but when it comes to eccentric fashion, no one compares to singer Lady Gaga who time and again makes a jaw dropping fashion statement with her bizarre outfits. And she did it again at the recent Brit Awards 2010 ceremony. She was among the first to walk the red carpet, but she left an impression that none of the other artistes after her were able to overtake. Onlookers were left quite stunned and unsure of what to make of the Poker face hitmaker’s entrance at the awards ceremony when she appeared sporting a white tiered dress accessorised with a towering white pompadour wig and a mask covering half her face. And while she left more to the imagination than usual, the towering ensemble, as most fashion critics were quick to comment, was one of her most bizarre fashion choices ever. Ensuring all eyes were on her, the singer sashayed confidently onto the red carpet.

The outfit seemed to be reminiscent of several iconic figures, including Pierrot, the melancholic clown-like mime character and 18th Century French Queen Marie Antoinette. Perhaps the the 23-year-old’s outlandish look — part angel, part Pagan — was a nod to Alexander McQueen. At her performance later in the evening, Lady Gaga dedicated one of her tshree awards to the late fashion designer, who tragically passed away recently.
