Jewel’s secret marriage

Contemporary folk singer and songwriter Jewel has tied the know with her long term boyfriend Ty Murray in a secret ceremony in the Bahamas. The 34-year-old exchanged vows with the former rodeo cowboy in a private service in front of friends and family on August 7.

Speaking to a website, her representative said, “She wore a traditional wedding gown, while Ty wore his favourite blue jeans, white shirt and cowboy hat. The couple is very happy and look forward to enjoying their honeymoon.” The pair — who didn’t announce an engagement — has been dating for ten years.
