Barack Obama has found a great Hollywood pal in none other than George Clooney, who is offering the presidential candidate advice on body language, presentation, and policy. Sources have revealed that the 47-year-old star and the Democratic presumptive candidate have struck a close relationship, and are constantly in touch via phone, text and e-mail. A source close to Clooney has revealed that the Oscar-winning actor is giving Obama image advice and tips on public speaking.

Abba retains top spot in UK charts with ‘92 album:

Swedish supergroup Abba are top of the UK album chart for a second week with their greatest hits collection. Gold was first released in 1992, but it’s become a big hit again thanks to the Abba-inspired film Mamma Mia!, which features loads of their songs, reports BBC.

Ohio church says no kissing, tickling:

The Archdiocese of Cincinnati has issued a detailed list of inappropriate behaviours for priests, saying they should not kiss, tickle or wrestle children. The newest version of the archdiocese's Decree on Child Protection also prohibits bear hugs, lapsitting and piggyback rides. But it says priests may still shake children's hands, pat them on the back and give high-fives. The Cincinnati archdiocese says it updates the rules every five years. The latest version, issued last week, also mandates background checks for contractors working with children.

Soul sensation Isaac Hayes dies at 65:

Soul sensation Isaac Hayes has passed away at the age of 65 years. A family member discovered him unconscious near a treadmill in his house on Sunday, say officials. The pioneering singer was administered CPR by paramedics, and taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead after an hour. The cause of his death has not been revealed as yet. Hayes, along with Al Green, James Brown and Stevie Wonder, was one of the biggest black musicians of the early 1970s.

Pamela Anderson has revealed that her new reality TV show Pam: Girl on the Looseinvolves a lot of gratuitous sex. The former Baywatch star’s E! entertainment series is about to air and the actress said: “I love gratuitous sex, so there will be lots of that.” Meanwhile, Anderson has roped in pal Elton John to star in the very first episode of the series.

A 90-year-old British woman’s fantasy was fulfiled after she was served fish and chips by a man dressed only in a thong and a see-through apron. The St Austell care home resident’s dream was made true by Cornwall Care, as part of its Make a Wish initiative.
